The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in mathematics and a passion for teaching high school students. You will play a critical role in helping students master foundational mathematical concepts, preparing them for success in advanced coursework and real-world problem-solving. We are looking for an educator who can create a positive and engaging learning environment, instill a love of mathematics, and support students' academic and personal growth.The qualified candidate should hold or be eligible for a valid Missouri Certificate for Mathematics Grades 9-12.

Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver effective math lessons aligned with state and district standards.
- Utilize diverse teaching methods, including hands-on activities, technology integration, and differentiated instruction, to meet all students' needs.
- Assess student learning through formative and summative assessments and provide actionable feedback.
- Foster a safe and inclusive classroom environment that encourages curiosity, collaboration, and critical thinking.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student attendance, grades, and performance.
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues to support student success.
- Participate in professional development, team meetings, and curriculum planning sessions
- Salary schedule placement acknowledging highest level of education and ALL years of previous teaching experience as allowed by the salary schedule
