Job Requirements:
Reeds Spring Middle School is seeking an energetic, student-centered individual to join our team for the 2024-2025 school year. The ideal candidate will collaborate with principals, counselors, teachers, parents, and students to evaluate and select resources addressing student behavior and social/emotional needs. Candidates will be able to effectively design and implement appropriate plans for students with behavioral needs. This position requires knowledge of de-escalation strategies and behavior reduction strategies, as well as a willingness to assist in various leadership capacities for the purpose of supporting staff and expanding behavior intervention techniques.
In addition, the Reeds Spring School District operates on a four-day school week and has a competitive salary schedule and benefits.
RSMS has an enrollment of approximately 285 students in grades 7-8 and employs around 45 staff members. Our building facility is a modern, state-of-the-art middle school incorporating multiple collaboration spaces into the classroom design. Reeds Spring School District is located 30 minutes south of Springfield on beautiful Table Rock Lake and serves the communities of Reeds Spring, Branson West, Kimberling City, Cape Fair, and Indian Point. In addition, the school district has a competitive salary, offers additional benefits, and has transitioned to a 4-day school week. Coaching duties may also be available for qualified applicants.
