Job Description:
Fair Grove R-X School District is seeking a Speech and Language Pathologist for the 2025 - 2026 School year. Fair Grove R-X operates a four-day school week with a designated amount of Mondays for professional development.
You may be providing direct therapy services to students ages 3-12th grade. Applicants must hold, or be eligible for, MO-Board of Healing Arts certification in the area of Speech Language Pathology and/or their Certificate of Clinical Competence. Applicants in their Clinical Fellowship year may also apply, as supervision is available.
The Speech and Language Pathologist will be expected to possess good people skills, flexibility, the ability to work under pressure and stay on task, responsibility, reliability, be a self-starter and have the ability to adjust to change.

- Meet the standards in knowledge and competence in the communication areas of language, articulation/phonology, voice and fluency.
- Meet standards in knowledge and competence of the comprehensive speech and language evaluation process and also in generating educationally relative goals and objectives based on the communication needs of the individuals.
- Schedule and conduct therapy for the students who require services.
- Plan and carry out the IEP as part of the multi-disciplinary team.
- Consult with students, parents, and professionals concerning progress in speech/language services.
- Keep records, write reports concerning the student's speech/language skills.
- Attend and or conduct eligibility reviews and IEP meetings.
- Complete IEP paperwork for students.
